What is the problem with traditional wireless infrastructure?
Some moons ago traditional wireless infrastructure were excellent equipments, they had been implemented at long scale and this has become a big test and error lab.

Thanks to these first step problems, manufacturers developed new software to correct known issues, but at the short run software is not enough and the answer is new hardware.
Under traditional wireless infrastructure the intelligence and decisions about signal strength, power, and signal to noise ratio are made by the access point close to the PC, unfortunately this does not take in to account other neighbors AP that can be a better choice or a problem.
Let’s talk regarding a real world example.
Let suppose that you are located in a building floor 1 and already connected to access point of the same floor then for some reason you need to move to floor 3, but pc will remain connected to AP from floor 1. This is a know issue because AP from floor 3 should be a better option with a better signal to noise ratio, the consequence is poor performance and user frustration
A common issue with traditional wireless infrastructure happens when due to the lack of a valid wireless signal, frustrated users installs home based AP without considering the following potential problems.
