What I do when my network is slow?

The most important thing is to keep calm and express internal people that we are working to resolve the problem because it is common that they ask why the network is slow.

  I have a rush job but I could not finish, how long is solved? etc.

 

The problems are diverse and there is no recipe to resolve them, by implementing the following actions will help you find a cause of slowness problem.

1 .- Identify the problem
a) what is slow?
b) Since when did it happen?
c) Any action implemented as a result there was the problem?
d) Is it a sectional or complete network problem?

2 .- Using your technical memory topologies
a)  Visualize the network
b)  Locate the points where people  reported slow network
c)  Isolate the possible points of failure.
d)  Verify that your links are working
e)  Locate the alternate routes and services you can use
