We have a manufacturing customer who has requested us to implement a Tandberg Quick Set C20 Plus video conferencing solution between El Paso, Tx.

USA and Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico.

The main problem that our manufacturing customer is having is that it is taking him a lot of time for his management team to have his daily meetings between El Paso, Tx. USA and Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico

There are long waiting hours to cross the USA-Mexico border in both directions, from El Paso, Tx. USA to Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico and from Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico to El Paso, Tx. USA. Our customer tell us that they have tried everything to make on time their management daily meeting, but they have never been able to start on time, for one reason or another and his management is losing very valuable time just waiting on their cars as they pass the USA-Mexico border.

As his headquarter is already using Tandberg Quick Set C20 Plus he decided to standardized on the same video conferencing solution, have all the options in place; the Natural Presenter Package (NPP) option, to be able to make presentations connecting a PC to the video conferencing equipment; the Dual Display (DD) option,  to be able to watch on the first screen the people from remote end and on the second screen the presentations that both ends make; and the Premium Resolution (PR) option, to have the best video conferencing quality possible using the least bandwidth.

Our manufacturing customer in El Paso, Tx. USA and Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico as well asked us to use the less expensive link with a 512 Kbps video conferencing quality. In order to accomplish this objective he will have an ADSL 6 Mbps down / 768 Kbps up internet access in both sides, with AT&T in El Paso, Tx. USA he will pay $30.00 USD per month and with Telmex in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico he will pay $1,042.60 pesos, around $80.20 USD per month. In total he will pay for his 512 Kbps internet video conferencing link $110.00 USD per month.

With two Tandberg Quick Set C20 Plus, one in El Paso, Tx. USA and one in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico, an ADLS 6 Mbps down / 768 Kbps up internet access in both sides, our manufacturing customer will have his daily management team meeting on time using our Tandberg Quick Set C20 Plus video conferencing solution, making them much more productive, instead of waiting endless hours on their cars passing the USA-Mexico border.
