VLAN’s Configuration in LAN

In order to maximize the safety and the performance of the applications of voice, data and / or video in the LAN, we will realize VLAN's configuration in the LAN of agreement to the needs of the application and of the client.

VLAN (acrónimo of Virtual LAN, ' virtual LAN ') is a method of creating logically independent LAN's inside the same physical LAN. Several VLAN's can coexist in the only physical LAN.
A 'VLAN' consists of a network of computers, servants, users, departments and / or applications that they endure as if they were connected to the same LAN, though they can be connected actually physically to different segments of a LAN.
The benefit of using VLAN's is that they help in the administration of the LAN separating logical segments of a LAN, as computers, servants, users, departments and / or applications of a client that must not exchange information using the LAN.

One of the major advantages from the VLAN's arises when some computer moves physically, servant, user, department and / or application to another location: they can remain in the same VLAN without need to change the configuration.
