Each Octopus has four microphone inputs (each input can also be designated as an exclusive channel or auxiliary sound reinforcement), however, the Octopus provides unlimited daisy chain capability, and allows multiple connectivity options. The Octopus has a high power DSP technology that automatically monitors and mix audio. While this may sound complicated is designed for easy installation and use, what can be called a solution of "set it and forget it". It comes standard with USB and RCA connectivity for VoIP and Video Codec, with the option to add a PSTN (analog phone) interface or a digital telephone interface. The Phoenix Octopus can be ordered with an optional 40-watt amplifier (watts), 4-output of the amplifier to power the speakers.
